Your IPTV app will not open on your Android TV. You click the icon and nothing happens, or you see a brief loading screen that immediately closes. This is a common issue on Smart TVs from Sony, TCL, Hisense, and other brands running Android TV.

Fix #1: Force Stop and Clear Cache

Step 1: Go to Settings > Apps > See All Apps

Step 2: Find your IPTV app and click on it

Step 3: Click Force Stop

Step 4: Click Clear Cache (NOT Clear Data)

Step 5: Go back and try opening the app

Fix #2: Check Storage Space

Android TVs have limited internal storage. If it is full, apps cannot launch.

• Go to Settings > Device Preferences > Storage
• Check available space. You need at least 500 MB free.
